Community Training Centers
Pastor C* is a first-generation believer who has been working fruitfully in the slums of Delhi for 15+ years. He has made many disciples and planted a network of home churches. He is one of the pioneers of using community development to gain the respect of the community leaders before sharing the gospel.
Pastor C* has trained many leaders in the slums of Delhi and the remote villages of Odisha. These lay leaders are boldly making disciples and organizing them into home churches. We partner with him to empower community development and provide teaching for his leaders.
Communication Commitment
Receive a prayer card with information on the teacher and prayer points. Opt-in to receive pictures and brief updates via WhatsApp monthly. Receive a quarterly newsletter.
Accountability Commitment
The Centers are visited regularly to ensure their operation. All income and expenses are professionally tracked in accounting software, and all expenses have receipts. Receipts and accounts are audited periodically for each center. Prosynergy Bookkeeping keeps all records and reconciles accounts.
Word/Deed Commitment
All community development efforts maximize true social impact, helping the poor regain dignity; they are also made through local church leaders who actively share the gospel, make disciples, baptize, and teach new believers in small groups.

Sponsor a Women’s Sewing Center
Current Work: Three Sewing Centers were launched in Delhi slums in February 2024. The ladies, including Christians, Muslims, and Hindus, are happily developing practical skills they can use to support their families. Already, numerous families have put their faith in Jesus through these Centers.
Current Opportunity: Local leaders are excitedly waiting to open sewing centers in Delhi slums and the remote villages of Odisha State. There is capacity to open more Centers. The workers are equipped and waiting to be empowered through sponsorship.
Sponsorship Breakdown:
Ongoing cost: $350/month (teacher/coordinator salary; room rent; utilities)
Startup cost: $500/one-time (sewing machines; furnishings; supplies)
Sponsor a Literacy Center
Current Work: One Child Literacy Center was launched in a Delhi slum in February 2024 and in an Odisha village in April 2024. The children are receiving basic education instead of roaming the streets aimlessly. They are also learning Bible songs and stories.
Current Opportunity: Local leaders are excitedly waiting to open Literacy Centers in Delhi slums and the remote villages of Odisha State. Adult literacy centers for ladies are much needed as well. There is capacity to open more Centers. The workers are equipped and waiting to be empowered through sponsorship.
Sponsorship Breakdown:
Ongoing cost: $350/month (teacher/coordinator salary; room rent; utilities)
Startup cost: $250/one-time (furnishings; supplies)
Sponsor a Computer Training Center
Current Work: One Computer Center was launched in Delhi in September 2024. The youth are developing marketable skills, hearing the gospel, and will get jobs instead of aimlessly getting involved in drugs and mischief. They will receive recognized certificates for the programs they complete.
Current Opportunity: Support the monthly cost of the Computer Training Center. Contact us to discuss starting another computer center in Dehradun or Odisha. Startup costs are around $5,000/one-time (computers; furnishings; supplies).
